Yeah, I remember my friends playing this bullshit ass garbage in their car. Oh God… I think I’ve heard this shit before… Jesus fucking Christ. I don’t think this song is that bad objectively, but personally I find this track really boring. Nothing he’s saying is particularly interesting, and I’m honestly not really feelin’ this beat that much either. It’s a pretty standard topic for Hip Hop. He’s rapping about how much harder his life used to be before he became rich and famous. I guess this is supposed to be a more personal track from Meek. I know the whole yelling thing is an integral feature of Meek Mill’s style, and part of his appeal, but I don’t think it really fits very well over this jazzy, grandiose, piano driven production. This is an alright song, but I personally won’t be coming back to it. The hook was kinda cool at first, but it got old real quick, especially after Tory’s verse, which didn’t sound any different from the hook. The only thing I really liked about it was the production, but nothing else really stood out for the right reasons. I think it’s probably my favorite track so far, but I’m still not really crazy about it. Shawty fucking for Chanel / I ain’t tripping that’s a coconut. Oh my God… That coconut line from Meek was so fucking stupid. It’s not bad, but I’m just bored of it now.

I’m so tired of his robotic voice that I don’t even like this hook that much anymore. Niggas talking ’bout my hair line / I laugh about it, I be feelin’ them / See, we both be making M’s / They be making memes, I be making millions. I’m not really sure how I feel about him defending his catastrophic hairline. If he was just rapping that’d be cool, but he’s singing with a LOT of autotune. I don’t know why I only expected him to do the hook. It’s also kinda hard to take him seriously when he’s saying “litty.” Oh shit he actually has a verse. Although he does kinda just sound like Travi$ Scott with a higher voice since there’s so much goddamn autotune on his voice. The first verse from Meek was nothing special, but I really like this hook from Tory. He’s using that triplet flow that’s been popularized by the Migos in recent years. I shouldn’t judge this song by its title. …Litty? Does… Is that… What? “LITTY?” Are you fucking shitting me? Smh… Did some rich white Valley girl help him come up with the song titles for this project? That’s so fucking corny. If it came on the radio I wouldn’t be in a rush to change whatever station it was on, but I’m not gonna go out of my way to hear it again. I definitely enjoyed it more than the previous track, but I don’t think I’d ever have the desire to play this shit again. I really don’t know how I feel about this one. The first verse wasn’t too exciting lyrically, but his flow wasn’t bad. The way the beat switches up as soon as the first verse starts is really dope. I don’t think this is terrible, but uh… It’s pretty wack to me. His flow was kinda cool on the second verse, but nah… This isn’t really doin’ much for me. The lyrics are very generic, which is to be expected I guess. I don’t like Meek’s flow on this first verse either. I don’t have a problem with the decision to sample O Fortuna, but the way it’s flipped just sounds kinda disjointed to me.

This motherfucker really rapped over O Fortuna. "OGs see me comin' through and they say, "That's a baller" / That's a nigga really started from the bottom really in that order.Alright, it’s starting now.

Meek uses a delivery similar to "Dreams and Nightmares" in "Pray For Em." He clearly calls out Drake's popular song, "Started From The Bottom," implying Drizzy didn't actually come up from nothing. “Was that my girl tour or the world tour?/ I do not know what you pussy niggas goin' for/ This that 100k a night when you perform tour/ Swimmin' in that good pussy while you on tour” Meek directly responds to Drake’s “Back To Back” verse in “I’m Da Plug Freestyle." “When you came from nothing, fuck being humble." Jahlil Beats provides solid production on "FBH," the same producer behind Meek Mill's breakout hit "I'm a Boss" featuring Rick Ross. Meek even reminds fans of the MMG single, "B.M.F. “Let them niggas have the Grammy’s we got the streets / We rich already / And my chick the baddest.” He could be talking about Drake in “Give Em Hope," possibly refering to the fact Drake has been nominated for a Grammy for “Back To Back.” Meek sticks to his own style and is out for redemption in “Pray For Em,” “Gave Em Hope,” “FBH,” and "I'm Da Plug." The energy reminds me of early Dreamchasers when he first signed with MMG, a sound we haven’t heard from the Philly-rapper in awhile.
